Let me tell you why I LOVE this Fresnel magnifier-First of all, because of the huge 6 1/4" magnified area (that's half a foot!), it is like a page magnifier. But, page magnifiers only go up to 2x, and this is 3X! And if that's not reason enough, there is a strong little L.E.D. light to help brighten things up a bit. Also, page magnifiers can be klutzy to hold. But the Fresnel magnifier has a handle. Did I mention the crystal clear optics? If I was this magnifier, I would be sooo conceited because i'd know I was the best magnifier on the block!
